Coordinated by Canterbury Pilgrimages and led by Fr. Jim Heyd of Chicago, this will make 2019 the most special rally yet, until 2020, that is!  Connect to your Serran spirituality like never before when you treat yourself to this California Mission Trail pilgrimage.

Pray for the respose of the soul of Sean Yeo, past President of Serra International.  John Liston writes,  "Past Serra International President Sean Yeo, of the Singapore Club, passed from this life to the next on 15 August 2018.  Sean had a strong devotion to the Blessed Mother, so it should be noted that his passing coincides with the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Sean.  His strong love of the faith, deep spiritual practices, and genuine kindness radiated through everything he did.  Each action that Sean took began and ended in prayer and was done in loving service to the Church.  I ask that all Serrans keep Sean and his wife, Lucy, in their prayers.

Sean's legacy at Serra is profound, far-reaching, but in most cases imperceptible to most people.  Sean's humility ensured that everything he did was for the glory of God, not himself.  Sean's overarching plan as Serra International president was to assist all Serrans in spiritual growth through prayer.  Sean 's initiatives to that end included digitally publishing Serra Connects, a magazine focused on Serran spirituality, and Serrans United in Prayer,  which served as the forerunner to our currently global monthly rosary for vocations.  He carried out these programs with fervor, dedication, and a willingness to receive input from his fellow Serrans and respond accordingly.  Both of these programs, along with countless other things that Sean has done, helped Serra return to and remain close to its spiritual roots. His actions have fostered greater fellowship and increase effectiveness in Serra worldwide.

Sean will be missed by Serrans throughout the world.  Please pray for the repose of his soul and for all departed Serrans,

Mary, Mother of Vocations, Pray for Us!  St. Junipero Serra, Pray for Us!

Membership.  #1 Priority for Serra International in 2018/2019.  A Message from Serra International President Mario Biscardi.

Dear Fellow Serra Leaders, I would like to share with you my #1 focus as President of Serra International, and that is MEMBERSHIP IS E-V-E-R-Y-B-O-D-Y-'S BUSINESS.

The saying is not new.  We have heard it many times in the past and it emphasizes the importance of having everyone become actively involved in promoting membership in Serra, and not just the VP of membership.

I have chosen this focus because SI has an amazing 83-year-old history of worthy vocation programs and and activities, including prayer services, and is quite relevant to our Church across the globe....However, for these and activities and prayers to continue, we need to work continuously at increasing membership.

Why?  Because a club may have the best vocation activities and best programs, but if the club is not successful in membership, it will die one day,  We cannot allow that to happen!...

Simply put, let us ALL make a concerted effort for one year at increasing membership. Let each Serran find one new member in the next year...

A Message from Our President.

Dear Fellow Serrans:

My term as president is now has expired, and we now need someone else to step up replace me, as well as volunteers for other club positions. The need is great but the laborers are few!

Mary, Mother of Vocations, Pray for Us!.
